Dr. Smriti Mahajan

A learner by attitude and astronomer by training, Dr. Mahajan specializes in multi-wavelength observations of nearby galaxies. She has mentored and examined several Masters and PhD theses in India and abroad, and served as a reviewer for prestigious international journals. As part of her mission to take Astronomy research to the masses, Dr. Mahajan writes articles in the print and online media to raise awareness about various topics related to Astronomy, and make research accessible to the general public.
